Chicago Cubs manager Lou Piniella said on Tuesday he’ll retire at the end of the season, ending a glorious career of more than two decades as a Major League manager.

The Chicago Cubs recalled reliever Jeff Stevens from Triple-A Iowa on Tuesday and optioned reliever Mitch Atkins to Iowa. Stevens will be making his third stint with the Cubs this season.
